Benjamin Earl Nelson (Henderson, 28 de setembre de 1938), més conegut com Ben E. King, es un cantant estadounidens de soul i pop.
Especialment famos en els anys seixanta, es l' intépret de la versió més coneguda de    «Stand by Me» (de la que es coautor amb els productors Jerry Leiber y Mike Stoller), un éxit en els Estats Unids en 1961 y 1986, i en el Regne Unit en 1987.
